Summary for Day 4: Thursday, 19 July 2018 - Thirtieth meeting of the Animals Committee

The 30th meeting of the CITES Animals Committee Meeting began its fourth day on 19 July 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The day was dedicated to the presentation of working group reports, and discussion in plenary of the following agenda items: snakes, tortoises and freshwater turtles, African wild dog, capacity building, and identification of CITES listed alligator lizards.

In the afternoon session, Chair Mathias Lörtscher, closed the day, thanking the Animals Committee members, the CITES Secretariat and all participants for the great effort and work throughout the week.

On Friday the joint meeting of the 30th Animals Committee Meeting and 24th Plants Committee Meeting will commence.
