CONCERNING:

Documents for the 49th meeting of the Standing Committee

1. The 49th meeting of the Standing Committee will be held in Geneva from 22 to 25 April 2003.

2. Documents for the meeting have been placed on the CITES website as they became available and can be downloaded. Printed copies of all documents available were sent to members and alternate members of the Standing Committee on 19 March 2003. The Secretariat will provide copies by post or by email to any pre-registered participant for the meeting who requests them.

3. In order to make savings on printing costs, the Secretariat will not distribute sets of documents at the meeting. Consequently, all participants are requested to bring their own sets.

4. The Secretariat takes this opportunity to remind participants that they will be required to present their credentials at the time of registration for the meeting in Geneva.
