CONCERNING:

CITES event calendar

1. In order to improve the accessibility of information on CITES-related events and certain deadlines for compliance with CITES Resolutions and Decisions, the Secretariat has decided to produce a CITES event calendar.

2. The same information is also available on the CITES Web site (http://www.cites.org).

3. The calendar will be updated frequently on the Web. The printed updates will be sent periodically via a Notification to the Parties.

4. Those who wish to have information on CITES-related events within their countries/regions included in the calendar may submit it by filling in the attached form. The form is also available on the Web whereby the information can be sent to the Secretariat electronically.
