Notification to the Parties

CONCERNING:

Reference to IATA Live Animals Regulations in National Legislation

1. At its 14th meeting (May 1998, Caracas, Venezuela) the Animals Committee discussed the implementation of Resolution Conf. 10.21 on Transport of Live Animals.

2. Consequently, the Animals Committee requests Parties that have incorporated a reference to the Live Animals Regulations of the International Air Transport Association into their national legislation to inform the Secretariat and to provide a copy of the relevant part of the legislation.

3. The Secretariat will report on the information received at the next meeting of the Animals Committee.
