Secretariat's new Senior Capacity Building Officer (Training)

The Secretariat welcomes the arrival of Mr Marcos Silva as its Senior Capacity Building Officer (Training). Mr Silva, a Brazilian, has extensive experience in education and technical training, and will develop and coordinate the Secretariat’s e-learning programme and training activities. Mr Silva was previously the Programme Officer for the Clearing-House Mechanism at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
