Deputy Secretary-General

The Deputy Secretary-General of CITES, Mr Jim Armstrong, is currently on extended leave from the Secretariat for family reasons. He is expected to resume his duties in the Secretariat on 1 July 2005.

Until that time, Mr Jonathan Barzdo will serve as Acting Deputy Secretary-General.
